Landsquare is the new meaning for urban continuity. The aim of the project is to transform the square in a continuous surface, an urban territory. It’s a multifunctional urban space, a cobbled surface with a regular link starting from the reference lines of the paths of the park of Caldogno. The strong identity of the pavement typifies the pedestrian area and creates an urban identity. The topography of the surface is designed to channel the abundant winter rainwater so that the square can absorb it like it was a natural ground. The areas where the water is channeled are made of natural soil that blurs into the pavement whose modules are smaller next to the soil and get bigger as they get farer. The colors of the pavement are 4 different grades of grey due to the morphology of the ground and are placed to chromatically redraw the surface thanks to isopleths creating a continues pattern.
